Meet Total Eclipse

Aaron

vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica

Aaron is one of the founding members of Total Eclipse. He has been performing professionally since he was 16, playing country music shows all over the midwest. He had a recording contract with Atlantic Nashville in the 90's, has had some moderate success as a songwriter, and has been playing in various bands in the bay area since 1998. He is currently also performing with West Grand Blvd an Oakland-based Motown and Soul band.

Bob

guitar

Gary

bass guitar

Gary started playing music shortly after high school.  He has played in numerous bands and brings his years of experience with him. He holds the bottom end of the rhythm section together and loves learning new music and styles.

Jerry

keyboards, rhythm guitar

Jerry amazingly has more than twenty-five years experience playing in live bands, both cover and original, having started his first band at only age ten. Jerry has performed in venues ranging in size from a six seat living room (his friend Jenny's) to a ten thousand seat concert venues (The Concord Pavilion) and is equally entertaining in both and everything in between. Jerry plays guitar, sax, piano/keyboards, bass, and was a tuba major at San Jose State University. Jerry is proud to be one of the founding members of Total Eclipse and couldn't imagine playing with a better group of performers.

Lisa

vocals

Lisa moved to San Francisco from her home of New York City three years ago, and is thrilled to be putting her chops to use with Total Eclipse! She also sings in an all-female a cappella group, The Loose Interpretations, based in San Francisco. Her musical tastes are all over the map, ranging from soul and motown to pop and contemporary. Her all time favorite, of course, is music from the 80s!

Lowell

drums

Michael

vocals, rhythm keys, percussion

Michael is a singer and songwriter from Pittsburg, California. He joined the band in 2004, adding his versatile baritone voice to the lush three part harmony that Total Eclipse is known for. Taking the lead on songs that need a deeper voice, Michael transforms into David Byrne, Jim Morrison, and even Prince.

Mike

lead guitar

Mike has been playing music for just as long as Jerry, in fact, they have been friends and band mates since childhood. Mike was a founding member of Total Eclipse who left for New York and has since returned to take his rightful place as lead guitarist for the band. Mike is a huge fan of punk rock, 70's disco, and basically anything Paul hates.
